6.0 How to order

6.1 Choose buy or hire

Visit www.safetools.co.uk and open the tools catalogue. Choose Buy Home kit, Buy Car kit, Rent Home kit, Rent Car kit, Buy Other tools or Rent Other tools. Choose a complete kit or manual selection. For a Mixed kit, select individual tools across Home, Car and Other tools. Read each description, intended use, specification, safety requirement and availability before choosing. The full home kits are of different types, but the current home kit in stock, HKT-1000 contains a safe bag, screwdriver sets, non-contact tester, main screwdriver tester, tubular spanners, curved locking plier, wood working handsaw, hammer, hex (allen) keys, rechargeable torchlight, universal utility key, pliers (combination, cutter, and long nose), and plunger with their primary packages. The full Car kits are of different types, but the current Car kit in stock, CKT-1000 contains safe bag pliers, reflective (hi-vis) jacket, pen screwdriver, double end spanner, torchlight, and tyre gauge with their primary packages.

6.2 Build your selection

Manual Home selection shows Home items; manual Car selection shows Car items; manual Other selection shows Other tools. Mixed selection opens all categories. Select quantities and check the itemised total. Reusable kit packaging keeps tools together and must be returned with a hired kit where listed. Consumables sold with hired tools are identified separately from hired items.

6.3 Set dates and fulfilment

For hire, select the start and end dates and times, check availability and read the minimum period, rate, deposit and return arrangements. Choose delivery or collection and enter your postcode. Your hire request needs to be approved. If your order requires a special delivery, all necessary arrangements will be communicated to you by our support team. Also, If the order exceeds our postage weight or size limit and no freight service is offered, pay on collection may be proposed to you.

6.4 Enter details and check the total

On the customer details page enter your name, email, telephone and billing or delivery address as needed. Use “Any other information” for useful access or order instructions; avoid unnecessary sensitive information. Review VAT-inclusive prices, delivery, hire return transport, deposit and optional extras. Correct errors before submitting. Contact us if the required charge or return arrangement is unclear.

6.5 Confirm pay and keep your reference

Read the relevant policies and use the button clearly stating the payment obligation, such as “Order with obligation to pay”. A binding Pay on collection order still carries a payment obligation; a non-binding reservation must be identified as such. Pay by an available approved method or the agreed Pay on collection option. If hire must begin within the 14-day cancellation period, make the separate early-start request described in Appendix B; a general terms checkbox is not a substitute. Keep your acknowledgement and express acceptance, which confirms when the contract is formed. Your invoice or receipt includes a unique order reference, items, charges and payment status. We confirm delivery or collection instructions and, for hire, the return deadline. Contact customer services using the reference if you need to cancel, report a fault or request an extension.
