We deliver to Zone 1 (England, Wales and parts of Scotland excluding the Highlands and Islands), Zone 2 (The Highlands and Islands of Scotland), and Zone 3 (Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isle of Scilly). Restrictions and any postcode-based costs, including arrangements for Northern Ireland, islands and remote areas, are displayed before acceptance. However, if a customer in a remote location chooses Evri Service (Free delivery), we will confirm the closest Evri collection address and communicate same to the customer before processing the order further. We do not accept orders to an address we cannot serve. There are paid delivery options for customers who may decide to pay for delivery. Our Evri free delivery option is one-way (i.e from us to the customer). Every other delivery option and routine hire-return transport / postage will be the responsibility of the customer, and it will be disclosed before payment is made, except where our legal obligations require us to pay or refund those costs. Delivery options, the dispatch estimate, expected arrival period and any agreed essential date appear in your order summary. Standard delivery is 3 working days latest through Evri Service; express delivery is next day (AM), 24hours or 48 hours latest through Parcel force. The checkout shows the actual cost. Any non-postal return cost for bulky goods is quoted or reasonably estimated before the contract, not first disclosed when you cancel.
Our maximum parcel weight is 30kg and maximum parcel dimensions are subject to the carrier and item restrictions. Manually selected orders above the published postage limit must be collected unless we expressly offer and agree a suitable freight service. Select “Pay on collection” for a collection-only order. We confirm the amount, location and appointment before you travel. There is no delivery charge for customer collection. For collection-only hires, you are responsible for suitable transport and safe loading within vehicle limits. Tell us if you need assistance. Collection remains subject to safe handling and any necessary equipment checks. Choosing collection or paying at collection does not remove distance-contract cancellation rights where a binding contract was already concluded online or by telephone.
We pack tools securely, and kits include the bag or protective packaging specified in the listing. Confirm that the address, contact number and access instructions are accurate. Use the delivery note space at the checkout to tell us about restricted access, stairs or unloading constraints before acceptance. Delivery does not include installation, training beyond the agreed handover, or carrying heavy items to an unsuitable location unless expressly agreed. Tracking is supplied where available. Please check the contents and condition as soon as reasonably possible and report missing, incorrect or damaged items with your reference number. Photographs help but are not compulsory where impracticable. We ask for prompt reporting to help investigate; a short reporting window, signature or failure to inspect at the door does not cancel statutory rights. Please do not use an unsafe item, contact us immediately.
For consumer sales we deliver by the agreed time, or without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract if no other period is agreed. If we miss delivery, you may require delivery within an appropriate further period. You may end the contract if we then fail. You may end it immediately where we refuse delivery or delivery by the agreed date was essential in the circumstances or you told us this before ordering. We refund sums due without undue delay. For hire, the start and return times are agreed expressly. If our delay prevents the agreed use, contact us to agree to a revised hire period or cancellation and a refund for hire not supplied. We do not charge for time loss because we failed to make the tools, equipment or machinery available as agreed. An alternative item is supplied only with your agreement.
For consumer sales, we remain responsible for goods until you or a person you nominate takes physical possession. If you independently commission a carrier that we did not offer, the legal risk position may change when we hand over the goods to that carrier. We handle claims involving carriers we appoint; we will not require you to resolve our carrier dispute before receiving a remedy you are entitled to. Do not request an unsafe unattended delivery. Any nominated recipient or location must be agreed clearly. A tracking scan alone does not remove our responsibility where delivery is disputed. For hire returns, use the agreed handover method and keep the collection receipt or dispatch evidence. Responsibility for avoidable loss depends on the agreed transport arrangement and the cause of the loss; you are not liable for our carrier’s failure after a properly documented handover.
If delivery fails because of an incorrect address or access problem within your control, we contact you to rearrange it. We may recover a reasonable additional delivery cost only if its basis was disclosed, the cost was actually caused by the failure and it is fair. We do not charge for failed delivery caused by us or our carrier. If you miss a collection appointment, contact us promptly. We will offer reasonable rearrangement and give notice before cancelling an uncollected order. Any retained amount must reflect a lawful, evidenced loss after reasonable steps to reduce it; there is no automatic forfeiture of the full price or deposit. Statutory cancellation and refund rights remain available.
We will explain serious disruption and take reasonable steps to limit delay. Such events do not remove your cancellation, refund or other mandatory rights. If we cannot offer a reasonable alternative, we will discuss cancellation of the affected order rather than leave it open indefinitely.
